We are one of Montana’s oldest outfitting families, having over 70 years’ experience. Of those years, Mick has been in the business for more than 40 and he is now joined by his sons. Our experience and genuine desire to please combine to ensure you have an unforgettable experience you’ll be telling your friends about. At the Montana hunting campsites, our sleeping tents are equipped with camping creature comforts like stoves and cots, a gas lantern, stools and a washstand. For preparing food, we have a large cook tent. Each day, tasty meals are prepared there and served family style at a long table. Note that each hunter is allowed to take 75 lbs of gear, and you should come prepared for both warm and cold days – Mother Nature is hard to predict! Don’t worry, though: We will provide you with a list of what to bring once you book your hunt. For out-of-state applications, writing to or call the Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks, at: 1420 E 6th Ave.Helena, Montana 59620 To ensure you get a spot, you should ideally call in January of the year you wish to go on your hunt. As part of our commitment to customer service, we are happy to greet you at the Ruby Street Inn (in Missoula) or at the airport for those arriving by plane. We are proud members of the Montana Professional Wilderness Guides Association and MOGA, and we are bound by strict requirements for character, guiding standards and equipment. If you would like to consult our references, they are available on our schedule and rate sheet. For any information not found on our site, please feel free to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you! Thank you for your interest in Cheff Ranch. We look forward to having you on our Montana pack trips or hunts. Kind Regards, |
